These shears are formed by having the smiths apply 8 alternating layers of steel which are slightly thicker than
a human hair on top of each other. This process, gives each blade incredible strength and aesthetically, it gives
each shear an intricate pattern that is unique to each shear. The blades themselves are incredibly sharp and very
powerful. The pivot uses a ball bearing system combined with flat screw technology which allows the shears tocut incredibly smoothly.
