Dynamic Duo Battle
Duration - 30MIN
Barbers will work in teams of two, switching roles every 5 minutes. Judging criteria include teamwork, the complexity of the haircut, and overall creativity.

Duration - 40MIN
The Hair and Beard Competition is your chance to showcase exceptional skills in both fading and beard grooming. Judging based off seamless transitions, precise detailing, and overall styled look.

Speed Frenzy
Duration - 15MIN
The Speed Fade Competition challenges participants to complete the fastest, cleanest fade in 15 minutes or less. Judge based off speed and overall product.

Speed Rookie Barber
Duration - 30MIN
For under 21 years old ONLY.
The Speed Rookie Barber Competition puts up-and-coming barbers to the test with a quick fade challenge. Participants have 30 minutes or less to complete their haircut. Judging will focus on speed, precision, and the overall quality of the final look.

Traditional Clash
Duration - 40MIN
The Traditional Competition highlights classic cuts and styles, requiring the use of both scissors and clippers. Barbers will craft timeless gentlemen’s looks, such as comb-overs, pompadours, and defined parts. Judging will be based on overall cut and style.
Rules For Each Competition
Speed Frenzy

• 15 min
• Model must have a minimum of a #2 guard on top
• No pre-cut or shape up prior to battle. Points may be deducted.
• Judging will be on speed, blend and overall cut.
Judging Speed Frenzy
Speed of Completion: Faster fades are rewarded—but only if they maintain solid quality.
Fade Quality & Blend: Are the transitions smooth and consistent from start to finish?
Cleanliness & Detailing: Are the edges sharp? Is the cut tidy with no visible lines or flaws?
Overall Presentation: Does the finished look feel polished and complete, despite the time crunch?

• No pre-cut or shape ups prior to battle
• Model must have a minimum of a #2 guard on top
• Judging will be on speed, blend and overall cut.

Speed of Execution: Finishing faster earns more credit—if the result is still clean and well done.
Precision & Clean Work: Are the lines sharp? Is the fade smooth and properly blended?
Fade Quality: Are the transitions between lengths consistent and seamless?
Overall Look & Style: Does the final haircut look polished, balanced, and presentable?

Creativity & Originality: Is the design unique and imaginative? Does it showcase the barber’s artistic flair?
Execution & Cleanliness: Are the lines sharp, the fades smooth, and the details precise?
Design Difficulty: How complex is the design? Does it demonstrate advanced technique?
Overall Flow with Hair: Does the design complement the natural hair pattern and head shape?

• Barbers will take turns on the model and will switch every 5 minutes
• Judging will be based on teamwork, difficulty and overall creativity.
• No pre-cut or shape up prior to the battle

Teamwork & Communication: Are both barbers in sync? Do they smoothly transition between turns and maintain a shared vision?
Haircut Execution & Quality: Is the haircut clean, well-blended?
Creativity & Style: Does the final look have flair, originality, or an unexpected twist?
Difficulty of Cut: Did the team challenge themselves with a more complex or detailed haircut?
Consistency Despite Switching: Is the haircut cohesive, or does it feel like two separate people worked on it?

Seamless Transitions: Smooth, clean fades between different lengths—especially where the hair and beard meet.
Detailing & Precision: Sharp lines, defined edges, and clean work around the beard, neckline, and hairline.
Overall Style & Presentation: Is the final look cohesive, stylish, and well-finished from top to bottom?
Balance Between Hair & Beard: Do the haircut and beard complement each other? Is there harmony in the length, shape, and flow?

Classic Execution: Does the cut stay true to traditional gentlemen’s styles (e.g., comb-over, pomp, side part)?
Clipper & Scissor Technique:Is there proper use of both tools, with clean scissor work and smooth clipper blending?
Fade or Taper Transitions: Are the blends consistent and fitting for a classic look?
Styling & Finish:Is the hair styled properly with volume, control, and product application that suits the cut?
Overall Presentation: Does the final result feel polished, professional, and true to a traditional aesthetic?
